18 Ngài lại phán: “Nước Đức Chúa Trời giống như điều gì? Ta sẽ ví Nước ấy với điều gì?” 18 Then said he, Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and whereunto shall I resemble it? 19 Nước ấy giống như một hạt cải mà người kia gieo trong vườn mình. 19 It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden; and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it. 20 Ngài lại phán: “Ta sẽ ví Nước Đức Chúa Trời với điều gì?” 20 And again he said, Whereunto shall I liken the kingdom of God?

10 And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath. 11 And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself. 12 Đức Giê-su thấy bà, gọi bà lại và nói: "Này bà, bà đã được giải thoát khỏi bệnh tật của mình." 12 And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thi ne infirmity. 13 And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God. 14 Bấy giờ, người cai hội đường nổi giận vì Đức Giê-su đã chữa lành trong ngày sa-bát, nên nói với đám đông: "Có sáu ngày phải làm việc. Hãy đến để được chữa lành trong những ngày đó, đừng đến vào ngày sa-bát." 14 And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day. 15 The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering? 16 And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day? 17 And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.
6 He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none. 7 Người ấy nói cùng người làm vườn nho rằng: Kìa! Đã ba năm nay ta đến tìm trái nơi cây vả này, mà chẳng thấy. Hãy chặt nó đi. Sao nó làm ô uế đất đai vậy? 7 Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground? 8 And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it: 9 Nếu năm sau nó ra trái thì tốt; còn nếu không, hãy chặt nó đi." 9 And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.
1 Lúc đó, có mấy người thuật lại cho Ngài nghe về những người Ga-li-lê mà Phi-lát đã lấy huyết trộn với của lễ của họ. 1 There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. 2 And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things? 3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. 4 Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem? 5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
52 Năm người trong một nhà sẽ chia rẽ nhau, ba chống lại hai, và hai chống lại ba. 52 For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three. 53 Họ sẽ chia rẽ nhau: cha chống lại con trai, con trai chống lại cha, mẹ chống lại con gái, con gái chống lại mẹ, mẹ chồng chống lại con dâu, và con dâu chống lại mẹ chồng. 53 The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
46 The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers. 47 Đầy tớ nào biết ý chủ mình, nhưng không chuẩn bị hoặc không làm theo, thì sẽ bị đánh nhiều; 47 And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. 48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.
36 And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately. Ta bảo các ngươi, chủ sẽ thắt lưng cho mình, bảo họ ngồi vào bàn ăn, và đến phục vụ họ. 37 Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them. And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants. 39 And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through. 40 Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not. Then Peter said unto him, Lord, speakest thou this parable unto us, or even to all? 42 And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season? 43 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. 44 Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath.
32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. 33 Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth. 34 Kho tàng các ngươi ở đâu, thì lòng các ngươi cũng ở đó. 34 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
