1 Đức Chúa Jêsus gọi mười hai sứ đồ lại, ban cho họ quyền năng và thẩm quyền trên các quỷ dữ và khả năng chữa lành bệnh tật. 1 Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. 2 Ngài sai họ đi rao giảng về vương quốc Đức Chúa Trời và chữa lành người bệnh. 2 And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick. 3 Ngài bảo họ: "Đừng mang gì khi đi đường, đừng mang gậy, đừng mang bao, đừng mang thức ăn, đừng mang tiền bạc, đừng mang hai áo. 3 And he said unto them, Take nothing for your journey, neither staves, nor scrip, neither bread, neither money; neither have two coats apiece.
55 Linh hồn nó trở lại và nó đứng dậy ngay. Người bảo họ cho nó ăn. 55 And her spirit came again, and she arose straightway: and he commanded to give her meat. 56 Cha mẹ nó kinh ngạc. 51 Khi đến nhà, Người không cho ai vào với Người, ngoại trừ Phi-e-rơ, Giăng, Gia-cơ và cha mẹ đứa trẻ. 51 And when he came into the house, he suffered no man to go in, save Peter, and James, and John, and the father and the mother of the maiden. 52 Mọi người đều khóc lóc và than khóc rất nhiều. Người bảo: “Đừng khóc. Nó không chết đâu, nó chỉ ngủ thôi.” 52 And all wept, and bewailed her: but he said, Weep not; she is not dead, but sleepeth.
49 While he yet spake, there cometh one from the ruler of the synagogue's house, saying to him, Thy daughter is dead; trouble not the Master. 50 Chúa Jêsus nghe vậy, liền bảo người cha: “Đừng sợ, chỉ cần tin thì con gái ông sẽ sống”. 50 But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.
47 Người đàn bà thấy mình không bị che giấu, nên run sợ đến. Bà sấp mình xuống trước mặt Ngài, thuật lại trước mặt mọi người lý do bà đã rờ đến Ngài, và bà được lành ngay. 47 And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately. 48 Chúa Jêsus phán: “Hỡi con gái, đức tin của con đã cứu con. Hãy về bình an”. 48 And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace. 49 Ngài còn đang nói, thì có người từ nhà viên cai ngục đến báo: “Con gái ông đã chết rồi. Đừng làm phiền Thầy nữa”.
45 Chúa Jêsus hỏi: “Ai đã rờ đến Ta?” Trong khi mọi người đều chối, Phi-e-rơ thưa: “Thưa Thầy, đám đông vây quanh và chen lấn Thầy”. 45 And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? 46 Chúa Jêsus phán: “Có người đã rờ đến Ta, vì Ta biết có một năng lực từ Ta phát ra”. 46 And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me.
41 Bấy giờ, có một người tên là Giai-ru, là người cai nhà hội, đến, sấp mình dưới chân Đức Chúa Jêsus, và nài xin Ngài đến nhà mình, 41 And, behold, there came a man named Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue: and he fell down at Jesus' feet, and besought him that he would come into his house: 42 vì đứa con gái duy nhất của ông, độ mười hai tuổi, sắp chết. Khi Đức Chúa Jêsus đi, đám đông chen lấn Ngài. 42 For he had one only daughter, about twelve years of age, and she lay a dying. But as he went the people thronged him. 43 Một người đàn bà bị băng huyết mười hai năm, đã tốn hết tiền của chạy thuốc mà không khỏi, 43 And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any, 44 đến gần Chúa Jêsus từ phía sau. Bà rờ vào tua áo Ngài, băng huyết liền cầm lại. 44 Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched.
13 Những hạt rơi trên đất đá là những người nghe đạo cách vui mừng, nhưng họ không có rễ; họ tin trong một thời gian, nhưng khi gặp thử thách, họ sa ngã. 13 They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away. 14 Những hạt rơi vào bụi gai là những hạt nghe đạo, nhưng dọc đường, những nỗi lo lắng, giàu sang và lạc thú của cuộc sống làm họ nghẹt thở, và họ không sinh hoa trái cho đến khi trưởng thành. 14 And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection. 15 Những hạt rơi trên đất tốt là những hạt nghe đạo với tấm lòng chân thành, giữ chặt đạo và sinh hoa trái một cách kiên nhẫn. 15 But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience. 16 Không ai thắp đèn rồi lấy bình úp lại hoặc để dưới gầm giường, nhưng đặt trên chân đèn, để những người đi vào có thể thấy ánh sáng. 16 No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but setteth it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light. 17 Không có điều gì ẩn giấu mà không bị lộ ra, không có điều gì che giấu mà không bị biết đến và đưa ra ánh sáng. 17 For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad. 18 Vậy, hãy cẩn thận về cách anh em nghe đạo: ai có, thì sẽ được cho thêm; còn ai không có, thì ngay cả điều họ tưởng mình có cũng sẽ bị lấy mất. 18 Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have. 19Mẹ và anh em của Người đến gặp Người, nhưng họ không thể đến gần Người vì đám đông. 19 Then came to him his mother and his brethren, and could not come at him for the press. 20 Người ta bảo Người rằng: “Mẹ và anh em của Thầy đang ở ngoài kia, muốn gặp Thầy.” 20 And it was told him by certain which said, Thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to see thee. 21 Người trả lời: “Mẹ tôi và anh em tôi là những người nghe và vâng theo lời của Đức Chúa Trời.” 21 And he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it. 22 Một ngày kia, Ngài cùng các môn đồ lên thuyền và nói: "Chúng ta hãy sang bờ bên kia hồ". Họ ra khơi. 22 Now it came to pass on a certain day, that he went into a ship with his disciples: and he said unto them, Let us go over unto the other side of the lake. And they launched forth. 23 Khi họ đang chèo thuyền, Chúa Giê-xu ngủ thiếp đi. Bỗng có cơn bão ập đến, nước tràn vào hồ, và họ bị ngập, và đang gặp nguy hiểm. 23 But as they sailed he fell asleep: and there came down a storm of wind on the lake; and they were filled with water, and were in jeopardy. 24 Họ đến với Chúa Giê-xu, đánh thức Ngài và kêu lên: "Thầy ơi, Thầy ơi, chúng ta chết mất!" Ngài đứng dậy, quở gió và nước đang chảy xiết. Chúng liền im lặng, và sóng lặng như tờ. 24 And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm. 25 Ngài hỏi: "Đức tin các ngươi ở đâu?" Họ sợ hãi, và kinh ngạc, tự hỏi nhau: "Người này là ai mà ra lệnh cho gió và nước, và chúng phải tuân lệnh?" 25 And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him. 26 Họ đến vùng Ga-đa-ra, đối diện với Ga-li-lê. 26 And they arrived at the country of the Gadarenes, which is over against Galilee. 27 Khi Ngài vừa lên bờ, có một người từ thành phố bị quỷ ám ra đón Ngài. Anh ta đã lâu không mặc quần áo, không ở trong nhà, mà ở giữa các mồ mả. 27 And when he went forth to land, there met him out of the city a certain man, which had devils long time, and ware no clothes, neither abode in any house, but in the tombs. 28 Khi thấy Đức Giê-su, anh ta kêu lên, sấp mình xuống trước mặt Người và kêu lớn tiếng rằng: "Lạy Đức Giê-su, Con Đức Chúa Trời Tối Cao, việc gì đến tôi? Tôi van xin Người, đừng hành hạ tôi!" 28 When he saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God most high? I beseech thee, torment me not. 29 Đức Giê-su truyền cho tà linh ô uế ra khỏi anh ta. Nhiều lần tà linh đã bắt anh ta. Mặc dù người đó đã bị xiềng xích và xiềng xích, và bị canh giữ, anh ta vẫn bứt xiềng xích và bị quỷ dữ đuổi vào nơi hoang vắng. 29 (For he had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. Các quỷ nài xin Đức Giê-su cho phép chúng nhập vào bầy heo, và Người đã nhập vào chúng. 32 And there was there an herd of many swine feeding on the mountain: and they besought him that he would suffer them to enter into them. And he suffered them. 33 Bấy giờ các quỷ ra khỏi người đó nhập vào bầy heo. Cả bầy heo lao xuống bờ dốc và chết đuối. 33 Then went the devils out of the man, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the lake, and were choked. 34 Những người chăn chiên thấy sự việc xảy ra, liền chạy đi báo tin khắp thành phố và miền quê. 34 When they that fed them saw what was done, they fled, and went and told it in the city and in the country. 35 Bấy giờ, dân chúng đi xem sự việc đã xảy ra, đến cùng Đức Chúa Jêsus, thấy người đã được trừ quỷ, đang ngồi dưới chân Đức Chúa Jêsus, mặc quần áo và tỉnh táo. Họ sợ hãi. 35 Then they went out to see what was done; and came to Jesus, and found the man, out of whom the devils were departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid. 36 Những người chứng kiến người bị quỷ ám đã được chữa lành, thuật lại tin tức cho những người mới đến. 36 They also which saw it told them by what means he that was possessed of the devils was healed. 37 Bấy giờ, cả đám đông từ miền Ga-đa-ra xin Đức Chúa Jêsus đi, vì họ sợ hãi lắm. Ngài xuống thuyền trở về. 37 Then the whole multitude of the country of the Gadarenes round about besought him to depart from them; for they were taken with great fear: and he went up into the ship, and returned back again. 38 Người đã được trừ quỷ nài xin đi với Đức Chúa Jêsus, nhưng Chúa đã đuổi người ấy đi và nói rằng: 38 Now the man out of whom the devils were departed besought him that he might be with him: but Jesus sent him away, saying, 39 "Hãy về nhà và thuật lại những điều Đức Chúa Trời đã làm cho ngươi." Người ấy đi và rao truyền khắp thành phố về những điều Đức Chúa Jêsus đã làm cho mình. 39 Return to thine own house, and shew how great things God hath done unto thee. And he went his way, and published throughout the whole city how great things Jesus had done unto him. 40 Đức Chúa Jêsus trở về, và đám đông chào đón Ngài, vì mọi người đều đang trông đợi Ngài. 40 And it came to pass, that, when Jesus was returned, the people gladly received him: for they were all waiting for him.
